Mitchel's Family Pumpkin Field

Every year the  the local plein air painter's are invited to paint the farm fields of the Saanichton Valley. Mitchel's farm and the  fresh farm produce building are the subject matter for many a fresh air painter. They always plant a U-Pick field of pumpkins, and as October moves on, a number of families make this a week-end outing destination. YThe day was dark and dreary but those orange pumpkins perked things up for the painting process.
