As soon as I arranged the orange mandarins in the transparent blue bowl on a blue and white tablecloth, I was hooked. I was planning to put in more objects, but I just love orange and blue together. So this became my subject. I was painting in a lobby and the ight on my palette was restricted, so it was a challenge and its always a surprise when you view your work in a better light. Its my happy piece for the week. Hope you are a little lightened by it too.
