Field of Camus

This is a repeat subject for me. The spring in Victoria erupts with flowers. Camus, an indigenous food source, are particularly stunning. There are park areas protected to maintain this bulb flower. There is something so alluring about those purple-blue and white colors that take my breath away. So I keep on painting them every year in different locations. I intend to paint one or two single flowers to go after the detail but its the sheer mass of color that attracts me.
