Daffodil Pond -Saanich, BC

During the pandemic I try to get out and walk every day. Periodically I walk with friends observing social distance. Its not easy to find trails where two people can walk 6 metres apart but abreast. So I have managed to discover new walking trails and this was such a charming walk. I have never seen so many daffodils all looking like they grew there in a wild state (they were surely planted many moons ago.) The layers and waves of  different greens in mid spring  caught my eye. Both the shapes of the yellow and greens lent themselves to work with the palette knife. Such fun to paint. I have no idea what this place is really called , but Daffodil Pond says it all in my mind.
