ELFRIDA SCHRAGEN - (previously known as Stephanie Louise)

Elfrida has been creating art for the last fifteen years as a painter, a sculptor and a pastel artist. She was raised by a professional artist, and has recently retired from the field of education to apply herself full time to her art. Over the course of the last fifteen years she has attended workshops and courses both in Victoria and at the Emily Carr Institute in Vancouver.

She has been a member of the Vancouver Island Sculptor’s Guild. She has entered many group shows, and juried shows. She has had solo shows in local galleries and in her own home.

Currently Elfrida is exploring painting with pastels and oils. She has been commissioned to do several portraits of dogs and people. She has just completed a large body of work depicting portraits of the homeless in Victoria.

Elfrida has also a small company, Unity Art and Frame.

Framing of her work, using conservation materials is now available at discount prices at her studio in Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
